Hi, I’m Tiffany, owner of Ohana Braiding & Ohana Academy—beauty professional, educator, business advisor, wife, and mother of four.
For many years, my life revolved around caring for my family and making sure everyone around me had what they needed. Like many women, somewhere in the middle of being everything to everybody, I lost sight of myself.
But God had a way of leading me back.
For me, that journey started with braiding hair.
What began as a skill became a source of healing, confidence, purpose, and eventually business ownership. Braiding helped me rediscover who I was beyond my responsibilities—and showed me that the gifts already in our hands can become the foundation for something greater.
That journey is the heart behind Ohana Braiding & Ohana Academy.
Through Ohana Braiding, I create an environment where women can pause, feel cared for, and leave feeling beautiful, refreshed, and confident.
Through Ohana Academy, we're taking that mission further. We provide beauty education, business guidance, technology education, mentorship, and personal-development experiences designed to help women and aspiring entrepreneurs develop their skills, strengthen their confidence, and turn their talents into sustainable businesses.
I've learned that sometimes a woman doesn't need someone to give her another dream—she needs someone to help her recognize the value of what God has already placed inside her.

Hi, I’m Kie (pronounced key) Bordain-Dodds, Instructor, Professional Life Coach & Business Advisor at Ohana Academy.
With more than 30 years of experience in IT Operations and business systems, I bring a practical approach to helping individuals move from ideas and talent to structure, strategy, and sustainable business ownership.
As a Professional Life Coach, entrepreneur, and technology strategist, I understand that building a business begins with more than a website or a great idea. It starts with understanding who you are, what you’ve been called to do, and how to turn that vision into something you can actually build.
At Ohana Academy, I provide instruction and guidance in business development, entrepreneurship, technology, websites, CRM systems, automation, client experience, and operational strategy. I also work with aspiring entrepreneurs who need help identifying their next step and established business owners who are ready to strengthen the systems behind their businesses.
My role is simple: teach you what I know, help you recognize what you already have, and give you practical tools to move forward with confidence.
